グラスワンダーが本日2025年8月8日に死去いたしました。

デビューから無敗で朝日杯をレコードタイムで制し、

グランプリレースを3連覇するなど輝かしい成績を残した競走馬時代。

種牡馬としても複数頭のG1ホースを送り出し、

その産駒スクリーンヒーローからも、モーリスをはじめ後継種牡馬が現れているなど、

これからも血統表の中で輝き続けてくれることと思います。

30歳となった今年も元気に過ごしていましたが、昨日夕方から容態が悪くなり本日夕方に

息を引き取りました。

高齢に伴う体力の低下から多臓器不全を発症したものと診断されています。

本馬の競走馬、種牡馬としての活躍と貢献は皆様がご存じと思いますので、

控えさせていただきます。

日本競馬に多大な功績を残した名馬に、心より哀悼の意を表します。

グラスワンダーのご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。

【Grass Wonder has passed away】

Grass Wonder passed away on August 8th.

He remained undefeated from his debut, capturing the 【Asahi-Hai】 in record time, and went on to achieve a remarkable racing career,

including three consecutive victories in the Grand Prix.

As a stallion, he sired multiple G1 winners.

From his progeny, Screen Hero produced successors such as Maurice, among others.

His name will continue to be remembered in the history of horse racing.

He had been living in good health even at the age of 30,

but his condition began to deteriorate on the evening of August 7,

and he passed away in the evening of August 8.

It was diagnosed that he had developed multiple organ failure due to age-related decline in physical strength.

We extend our deepest condolences to this great horse who made tremendous contributions to Japanese horse racing.

We pray for the peaceful repose of Grass Wonder’s soul.
